- 63 scripted calls
- 7 scam signals
- 0 setup steps for Mom
Trusted voice, untrusted ask. KinVoice hears both.
KinVoice listens for what a call is asking Mom to believe and do. It flags impersonation, secrecy and payment pressure, even when the voice is a perfect clone of family.

What a caregiver sees
when a call turns.
A recorded example of one scam call. To run real calls through the live Bedrock detector, open the KinVoice app.

A scam call shouldn’t
sound like family.
Cloned voices beat the ear, and spoofed caller ID beats the phone. On-device scam detection skips saved contacts, which are exactly the numbers a grandparent scam fakes.

From first ring to
a verified family.
One continuous flow. Mom does nothing; you hear about it the moment a call turns dangerous. In the demo, setup, alerts and FamilyVerify are simulated; the Bedrock scoring is real.

FAQs
Honest answers about what KinVoice does, and what it doesn’t.
Does KinVoice detect fake or cloned voices?
No, on purpose. Voice-clone detection is an arms race that gets harder as clones improve. KinVoice reads what a call is asking someone to believe and do, so it works even against a perfect clone.
Do you have paying customers?
No. KinShield is pre-launch. The demo is real and live on AWS, but the product is not for sale and we are not claiming any users.
Is the location check real?
It's simulated in this demo. It compares a caller's stated location against a device the real person chose to share. It never tracks the caller. It is illustrative, not a shipped feature.
What about real phone calls?
The judge-reachable demo runs on scripted transcripts. Live-call handling (Amazon Chime SDK + Amazon Transcribe) is architecturally scoped and on the roadmap, not yet the shipped path.
What data do you store?
The call demo stores per-session risk events in DynamoDB and needs no sign-up. There's no phone number or contact list involved. In KinBot, messages are checked and forgotten. Signing in is optional. If you do, Kip saves the verdict and headline of each check (never the message itself) so you can see your history.
Is this medical, legal, or financial advice?
No. It's a fraud-signal tool and an educational demo. If you think you've been scammed, contact your bank and report to the FTC (reportfraud.ftc.gov) or FBI IC3 (ic3.gov).
